PLAIT IT UP

Recently got inspiration

I reckon plaits would look rather good in the spring. You know, a nice floral, ditsy print white dress, above the knee- always above the knee, a leather biker jacket, with the sleeves PUSHED not ROLLED up, hair in a messy plait and just a touch of colour on the lips would just about set the outfit off. But you know, not to be too particular or anything.

Either way, its what I shall be doing ! Heres some inspiration for you guys...

Ive never really been an accessory person. It actually burns me to spend money on accessories, dont ask me why. Everything just seems to be a rip off to me.
Hooooooooowever. That was before I came across a bunch of rings that left me lusting. (Not over a man this time, go me)

Oh Vivienne Westwood. You beauty.

So. Decided to treat myself. To some VIVIENNE WESTWOOD BAS RELIEF EARRINGS!

JizzInMyPants. Now, Ive had a slight obsession with this Vivienne chick only for about... 2 years. And In that space of time Ive managed to acquire 2 bags, 3 pairs of earrings, 2 necklaces, 2 purses and a wallet.
No, Im not rich. At all. I usually buy them, skip around with them for a month or six and then sell them on ebay. But nuh - uh. NOT with these bad boys.

Now, my concious, (along with Peppa Pippin I imagine) is telling me - 'Aurelia, you are a broke ass student. Why oh why are you spending so much money on earrings that I am most likely to lose or break, when you dont have much food in the house?'
 My answer? BUT THEY'RE SO PRETTTTTYYYY! And I need to lose a stone or 3 anyway. Win Win if you ask me.




Peppa Pippin making me feel guilty with them beady lil eyes, whilst wrapped up in my Alexander McQueen. Go figure.

Now, im not really one to search and follow trends, Im more of a...SeeIt,LikeIt,BuyIt kinda girl. But that Vivienne did it for me when I saw her very classic pirate boots with a heel, showcased in her S/S '11 collection she previewed last year.
 Plus the colours they come in are all block, striking colours. 'Bang On Trend' or as they say.


Hummuna Hummuna. Fling off the nude granny socks and these would do me nicely.
